“I believe that therapy is a collaborative process with each client.” - Emily Buckley
Everyone has a story that is worth being told.
About Emily Buckley, LCSW-S
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas, I’ve specialized in working with clients going through chronic illness and major life events while supporting their family members and caregivers along the way. I’ve helped clients transition into parenting, change careers, grieve the loss of loved ones, move to new communities, and more.
My approach is tailored to each client, guiding sessions with the evidence-based techniques that will best help their unique needs. I practice psychotherapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques.
I received my Master’s in Social Work from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and my Bachelors in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. With multiple certifications in clinical therapy and psychotherapy, I continue to pursue the latest and greatest techniques in order to help my clients heal.
I’m available for clinical supervision for anyone working to become a LCSW in Texas. Contact me for more information.
